Good Bye Америка

When all songs subside
Which I don't know
My last paper steamship
will give a shout in the astringent air...

Goodbye, Amerika, ooh,
Where I have never been
Adieu forever
Take a banjo, play for me at parting
Lalai...

Your jeans became too small for me
They teached us for so long
To love your forbidden fruits

Goodbye, Amerika, ooh,
Where I will never be
Whether I hear a song...

Прощальное письмо (Гудбай Америка)

Когда умолкнут все песни,
Которых я не знаю,
В терпком воздухе крикнет
Последний мой бумажный пароход.

Good Bye Америка,
Где я не буду никогда.
Прощай навсегда.
Возми банджо,
Сыграй мне на прощанье.

Мне стали слишком малы
Твои тертые джинсы,
Нас так долго учили
Любить твои запретные плоды.

Good Bye Америка,
Где я не был никогда.
Услышу ли песню,
Которую запомню навсегда.

Lifehouse - Halfway Gone

Текст песни
Скрытый текст

Halfway gone, I'm Halfway gone

You were always hard to hold
So letting go ain't easy
I'm hanging on, your growing cold
While my mind is leaving

Talk, talk is cheap
Give me your word
You can keep

'Cause I'm halfway gone, and I'm on my way
And I'm feeling, feeling, feeling this way
'Cause your halfway in, but don't take to long
'Cause I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

Halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

You got one foot out the door
And choking on the other
Always thinking something more
Is just around the corner

Talk, talk is cheap
Give me your word
You can keep

'Cause I'm halfway gone, and I'm on my way
And I'm feeling, feeling, I'm feeling this way
'Cause your halfway in, but don't take to long
'Cause I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

If you want me out, then I'm on my way
And I'm feeling feeling, feeling this way
'Cause your halfway in, but don't take too long
'Cause I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone
Now I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

Don't take too long
Don't take too long
'Cause I'm on my way
If you take too long

'Cause I'm halfway gone, and I'm on my way
And I'm feeling, feeling, I'm feeling this way
'Cause your halfway in, but don't take to long
'Cause I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

If you want me out, then I'm on my way
And I'm feeling, feeling, I'm feeling this way
'Cause your halfway in, but don't take too long
'Cause I'm halfway gone, I'm halfway gone

'Cause I'm halfway gone, yeah I'm halfway gone
'Cause I'm halfway gone, yeah I'm halfway gone

Скрытый текст

There's light a different kind of light

When we close we close our eyes

There's a place a distant kind of place

We can't let go just can't let go

There's a faith a stronger kind of faith

It makes you try just a little harder

There's a time a lonely kind of time

When you know you simply know

That you just can't fake it

A mother's son knows he never walks alone

No matter what he's become

Hard as he tries he can never give it back

Life's to short for a mother's son

There's a range a silent kind of rage

It makes you live out on the edge

There's a pain a different kind of pain

Knowing time will change everything

You just can't fake it
